I hope your week is moving along well. Surveys are fun – am I right? Well, I enjoy reading them, and was excited when Lisa tagged me to participate in this one recently. Who am I to turn down a little ole Q&A? Especially when Lisa and I are both hoping that overalls will not come in style anytime soon! Overalls? Say what?? Keep on moving down the list of questions, and you will see what I am talking about!
Versatile Blogger Survey
What is something people might be surprised to learn about you?
I talk about it in more detail on my about page, but I did not grow up athletic – like at all. I never played a sport, and was usually picked near to last in my gym class. Maybe because in volleyball I would casually step to the right or left, and then play off that I did not think the ball was coming towards me. I still remember it all so vividly! Because ball sports are scary. I also managed to get out of swimming in high school every year simply because I did not want to do it. That is real talent.
So if you are new to the blog you can imagine it is a little ironic that I have any interest in fitness or the gym.
Have you ever met someone famous?
I am still working on that one! I was an extra in a movie with Julia Roberts, but I did not get to formally meet her. But I was very close in proximity.
What is something you hope will never come back in style?
Gosh, overalls hands down. For some reason, I was obsessed with them in early college. Fitness and also style were not on my radar. I wore them constantly, and they were just really unflattering. Why did I not know there was something better out there?
What is one place on your must-see travel bucket list?
I have thought a lot about Italy lately. That is definitely up there on the list!
Who would you want to play you in a movie of your life?
I have been watching The Americans on TV with Keri Russell. I have been a big fan of her and her hair since the days of Felicity. For some reason, I am drawn to the idea of her playing me!
Who is your favorite Disney princess?
Belle from Beauty and the Beast. She is spunky, she reads and she has brown hair.
What would you sing at karaoke night?
Total Eclipse of the Heart is the first song that pops into my mind. Oh Bonnie Tyler…
Who would you want to be stranded with on a desert island?
If this terrible event were to occur – I would want Scott because he is incredibly resourceful and MacGyver-like. I am sure he would figure out a way to get us out! He managed to fit all this equipment in an apartment garage. So I am hopeful he would have a plan.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
I was walking by our apartment a few weeks ago and met our new neighbor. He said hello and his next words were practically “I am really loud – just knock on the door if it gets out of hand.” Not cool. If you know you are doing something obnoxious why not correct it in the first place? So I think inconsiderate people who make no effort are one of my biggest pet peeves.
For the record, he is too loud.
What item/accessories/shoes do you have way too many of in your closet?
Purses by far. I have trimmed down over the years and even sold some on e-Bay. However, I always wanted a new purse because I always thought the new one would somehow just be perfect. Not too big or small with the right closure and pockets. This is my current favorite, and I love it. But it is a little on the small side.
To keep the fun going I tag any other blogger out there who would like to participate! These surveys are fun, and it is great to learn more about the person behind the posts. Linking up with Amanda today to share these thoughts.
