Some easy and quick recipes coming your way today for some fast and easy hummus! These snack dips are homemade, but without the fuss all in thanks to Bush’s Hummus Made Easy. Three simple steps is all you need for this delightful and tasty snack any time of day.
3 Unique Ways to Enjoy Hummus
I am very excited to share these recipes with you today because I have a huge fondness for hummus. I often enjoy it as a mid-afternoon snack with fruits, veggies or assorted crackers. However, I will confess that I often buy the store variety because it’s so quick. Making hummus is not a very complicated task, but it does involve some prep work and either experimenting or finding a recipe. So this was an opportunity to simply try out some new flavor twists. I had a lot of fun coming up with these healthy snack dips.
Benefits in Beans
When it comes to selecting foods I really put an emphasis on nutrient density. I want the most bang for my buck so to speak. I choose whole foods most often, but I also like to add a dash of fun here and there. Making it a touch different is often all you need. My uncle who is a scientist (plus a huge fan of The Bikini Experiment!) eats beans almost every day. He recently introduced me to Dr. Michael Greger from nutritionfacts.org who has shared several great articles on the health benefits of beans. This post is super short, but is a very informative article I recommend reading. Beans pack a super nutrition punch!
I enjoy beans regularly. But since I only typically share one recipe here weekly they had fallen off my radar a tad. Well, they were back on in a big way as I came up with these ideas. Ready for the recipe inspiration? It’s coming right at ya!
